Confusion
1 Corinthians 14:33 - Part 5

I had two other Mormon-like experiences. One experience was about my computer talking to me. Another instance was about God telling me about a struggling sister in Christ.

When I was working on my 11th testimony on my 486 computer from my home at Irvine, my computer had a glitch telling me that I was going to win three Nobel Prizes in physics as shown in Figure 1.

"Hey, Joseph. It's me. It's your God talking to you. Joseph. You are going to win three Nobel Prizes in physics."
"Hey, Joseph. It's me. It's your God talking to you. Joseph. You are going to win three Nobel Prizes in physics."

Figure 1. 486 Computer glitch. This happened between 1997 and 2000.

This happened one afternoon around 1997 to 2000. I looked at my computer screen for one or two minutes. When I pressed my arrow keys on my keyboard, the Figure 1 computer glitch disappeared. I was extremely upset. I knew that Satan was attacking me. It was amazing to see that Satan has the power to manipulate the laws of physics even in my computer. This reminded me of one instance when Neo, the main character in the movie "The Matrix," saw his computer typing, "Follow the white Rabbit." I was awake when I saw my computer glitch. I had plenty of sleep. I knew what I saw. I was not hallucinating. I never took any illegal drugs or never got drunk in my life. I knew that God was not talking to me through my computer. However, I saw my computer acting schizophrenic. If Satan could manipulate the laws of physics and computer science, could it be possible that Satan manipulated the laws of biochemistry of mental illnesses as well? Could it be possible Satan manipulated Reverend Sun Myung Moon, Joseph Smith, Mohammed, and other cult leaders like the Jehovah's Witnesses in terms of their mental illnesses?

If my 486 computer was acting weird, then the other incident with a sister in Christ at Irvine was just as weird. When I was at Irvine, I was walking towards my home from the UC Irvine campus on the bridge walkway between UC Irvine and the University Towne Center. I saw a sister in Christ smoking a cigarette. I said, "Hey, what's going on?"

She said, "I got to go." After we said hi briefly, I did not see her again. Then, I heard a subconscious thought. I felt that my subconscious thought was telling me that I could find this sister in Christ at the library. I felt that God spoke to me. However, I had to continue to remind myself that God did not speak to me. Maybe, I just talked to myself.

Remarkably, I found her at the library. I was talking to the sister in Christ. I asked her why she was smoking. She told me that she was not going to church anymore. I asked her why. She felt that she did not fit in church. I told her that everyone got rejected in his lives and that it was normal to be hurt. I told her to go to church. One week later, I believed she told me that she decided to go back to church.

I told my pastor at KCPC (Korean Central Presbyterian Church) at San Francisco about what has happened to me. He told me that it was not from God. My pastor asked me to read Acts 16:16-19.
